Power Fuse
What is a Power Fuse? A typical power fuse or electrical fuse has power fuse ratings between 250 and 600 volts. Current ratings range from 0.5 to 6,000 amps. Some electrical fuse types carry a 1,000 volt rating. Midget fuses are built in a 13/32 inches x 1-1/2 inches (10x38mm or 5AG) case size. Midget fuses have ampere ratings up to 50 amps. Power Fuse types include the UL classifications such as the Class CC fuse, the Class G fuse, the Class H fuse, the Class K5 fuse, the Class RK1 fuse, the Class RK5 fuse, the Class J fuse, the Class L fuse, the Class T fuse and the Plug fuse. Typical midget fuse and power fuse types have applications that include overload and short circuit protection in motor branch circuits, heating and cooling systems, control systems, lighting circuits and electrical distribution networks.
