What is a Carling F Series hydraulic magnetic circuit breaker? The Carling F Series hydraulic magnetic circuit breakers are best suited for high current applications in very hot or cold environments. The Carling F Series circuit breaker has a load sensing mechanism that is designed to be insensitive to changes in ambient or enclosure temperature providing a consistent trip point from -40°C to +85°C. The typical 1 pole handle type frame size in inches is 2.965 x 1.500 x 7.125 (L x W x H). The Carling F Series circuit breakers have current ratings from 50 to 700 amps and voltage ratings of up to 125VDC and 120/240 VAC. The maximum interrupting ratings are 50,000 amps at 125VDC and 10,000 at 120/240VAC. Time delay options (AC) include Short, Medium and Long. Time delay options (DC) include Instant, Ultra Short, Short, Medium and Long. Handle actuators are offered in 1 to 3 poles. Available circuit types include Series, Series with Parallel Poles and Series with an Auxiliary/Alarm Switch. The Carling F Series circuit breakers offer Rear or Front Panel mounting with screw terminals (3/8-16), stud terminals (3/8-16), heavy duty box wire connectors for solid wire or a pressure plate connector for standard wire.
