Data Sheets & Stock Check »What is a 600 Volt Semiconductor Fuse? Semiconductor Fuses are also known as High Speed Fuses or Rectifier Fuses. The 600 volt semiconductor fuse is a current limiting very fast-acting fuse rated at 600 volts AC and DC. A midget size (10x38mm) version with current ratings ranging from 5 to 40 amps is available. This version has a maximum interrupting ratings of 200,000 amps AC and 100,000 amps DC. Other versions are rated at 600 volts AC only with maximum interrupting ratings of 200,000 amps AC. Current ratings on these versions range from 1 to 2,000 amps. An optional blown fuse indication feature is available on the larger versions. These High Speed Fuses are UL Recognized.
Mersen, Littelfuse and Bussmann offer a 600 volt semiconductor fuse. Mersen uses the Amp-TrapĀ® Form 101 brand name. Littelfuse uses the POWR-GARDĀ® trade name.
