What is a Carling N Series hydraulic magnetic circuit breaker? The Carling high-performance N-Series hydraulic-magnetic circuit breaker is ideally suited for the rigors and confined spaces of telecom and datacom power distribution units and rack systems. Its innovative, low profile design features easily accessible load and line terminals and sliding barriers for effortless installation. With the integration of an optional current transformer, the N-Series is capable of sensing current down to a level of 1%. The typical 1 pole flush rocker type frame size in inches is 1.760 x 0.750 x 3.915 (L x W x H). The Carling N Series circuit breakers have current ratings from 1 to 30 amps and voltage ratings up to 277VAC. The maximum interrupting rating is 10,000 amps. Time Delay options include Ultra Short, Short, Medium, Long, Hi Inrush Short, Hi Inrush Medium and Hi Inrush Long. The Carling N Series circuit breaker is offered in 1 to 2 poles with allow profile rocker or a push-to-reset low profile rocker. There is also a patent pending, flush-rocker actuator and push-to-reset guard that offers additional protection against accidental switching. The N Series is a Series trip (current) circuit type. The Carling N Series circuit breakers are Front Panel mounted with a choice of 6-32 or M3threaded inserts.
