What is a Carling series D hydraulic magnetic circuit breaker? The Carling D Series hydraulic magnetic circuit breaker is similar to the Carling C Series circuit breaker but is designed for snap on back panel Din Rail mounting. The Carling D Series circuit breakers can be mounted on either a 35mm X 7.5mm, or a 35mm x 15mm symmetrical Din Rail. The typical 1 pole, handle type frame size in inches is 2.165 x 0.755 x 3.612 (L x W x H). The D Series circuit breakers have current ratings from 0.02 to 50 amps and voltage, ratings up to 80VDC and 250VAC (277VAC to 480VAC with a backup fuse). Carling D series circuit breakers have interrupting ratings that range from 3,000 to 5,000 amps. Time delay, options include Instant, Ultra-Short, Short, Medium, Long, Hi Inrush, Short, Hi Inrush Medium or Hi Inrush Long. Available circuit types include Series Trip, and Switch Only,. Handle actuators, are available in 1 to 4 poles. The Visi-Rocker, two color actuators offer front panel operation and visual indication of the ON or TRIPPED/OFF mode. Single color rocker, actuators are also available. Rocker actuators have 1 to 3 poles. Rear Mount Din Rail or Front Panel Mount options are available. The terminals are recessed, wire-ready, touch-proof, shock resistant and suitable for automatic screw driver assembly. The terminals also have Dead Front construction characteristics. The Carling D Series hydraulic magnetic circuit breakers are available with UL Recognized, UL Recognized Standard 1077, UL 508 Listed, CSA Accepted and VDE, Certified approvals.
