Line voltage Rated PTC Device
Data Sheets & Stock Check »What is a line voltage rated PTC device? Line voltage rated PTC device , or LVR, is designed to protect electric motors and transformers used in commercial and home appliances from damage caused by mechanical overloads, overheating, stall, lost neutral and other potentially harmful conditions. The line voltage rated PTC devices are rated for line voltages of 120 volts AC and 240 volts AC and amperages up to 2 amps. They have either a round or square encapsulated body with radial leads. The line voltage rated PTC devices are recognized by UL, CSA and TUV. All line voltage rated PTC devices are lead free and RoHS Compliant.
Key parameters for the line voltage rated PTC device product offerings are as follows:
PTC Series | Hold Current | Max Voltage | Max Fault Current |
LVR | 0.05 to 2.0A | 240VAC | 1.0 to 7.0A |
LVR | 0.05 to 2.0A | 120VAC | 20A | LVB | 1.25A | 240VAC | 12.5A | |
