What is a MAXI Blade Style Thermal Circuit Breaker? A MAXI Blade Style Thermal Circuit Breaker is a blade type automotive circuit breaker that is similar in style to the MAXI Automotive Fuse. Typical applications can be found in automobiles, trucks, busses and other transportation vehicles that operate on DC voltage. The MAXI Thermal Circuit Breakers are available in Type I Auto Reset, Type II Modified Reset and Type III Manual Reset versions. They are offered with a metal cover. MAXI circuit breakers have ampere ratings from 5 to 50 amps. There are versions that are rated at either 14VDC, 12/24 VDC or 24 VDC with interrupting ratings from 150 to 750 amps at 14 VDC. MAXI Blade Style Thermal Circuit Breakers can be mounted into MAXI type fuse blocks and are SAE J553 or SAE J1171 (Ignition Protected) compliant.
